Anise Black Tea with Licorice Root
Black Chinese tea infused with anise oil and chopped licorice root. Often called 'licorice tea' or 'Pernod tea' but typically without licorice root. This tea offers a delightful balance between the flavors of tea and licorice, with a sweet note due to the presence of licorice root.
Please be aware that this tea can elevate blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, excessive consumption (2 liters per day) may be harmful.
Conversely, if you have very low blood pressure, this tea can actually be beneficial. But remember - moderation is key.
Brewing Instructions:
- Dosage: 10 g per liter
- Steeping time: 3-5 minutes
- Water temperature: 100 0C
