White tea – rich in flavour

White tea with added aroma is still, a true white tea. This means you still gain all the natural qualities of white tea while enjoying the added flavour.

Just like green and black teas, white tea leaves also come from the Camellia Sinensis bush. However, when harvesting white tea, only the youngest top leaf buds are picked. The harvesting takes place just before the buds unfold into full leaves. These buds are covered with fine white hairs, which is where the name “white tea” originates.
