The alcohol-free sparkling tea is a healthy alternative to sparkling wine, which does not compromise on the good taste. Sommelier Jacob Kocemba has tasted hundreds of teas and put together many different blends before the perfect Sparkling Tea was ready to be put into production.

The result of the carefully selected tea mixture is Copenhagen Sparkling Tea; a sparkling and festive blend of up to 13 different types of tea, depending on which bottle you choose. The many nuances of taste from the different types of tea ensure a deep, round and fresh taste experience every time you drink Sparkling Tea.

The story behind Copenhagen Sparkling Tea

Sparkling Tea was created by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba during his employment at a Michelin restaurant in Copenhagen. Despite a large wine cellar with over 1700 wines, Kocemba could not find the sparkling wine he thought was perfect for desserts. Therefore, the sommelier had to try a different path, and the solution was a homemade tea extract consisting of a mixture of exclusive teas. The sparkling drink quickly became a great success among the restaurant's guests.

The drink's growing popularity took Kocemba as a sign that the world was ready for festive, sparkling drinks without alcohol. Therefore, over time, he perfected the flavor combinations through countless different tea blends, which formed the basis for the different varieties of Sparkling Tea.

In order to realize the dream of spreading Sparkling Tea beyond the country's borders, Jacob Kocemba entered into a partnership with the entrepreneur Bo Sten Hansen in 2017. Hansen was the perfect partner because he had many years of experience in business development - and a great passion for gastronomy.

Together they founded the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company, and the first bottle was sold in Copenhagen in May 2017. Now it is sold in over 40 countries and served in more than 80 Michelin restaurants worldwide.
