What is fruit drink?

A fruit drink is a blend of freeze-dried fruits in many varieties and colours. When you pour boiling water over the mixture, it creates a flavourful infusion. There are fruit drinks for every taste, and they are popular with both children and adults.

Fruit drinks contain neither tannins nor caffeine. For that reason, they are a perfect choice before bedtime, unlike many other tea drinks. While they do not contain caffeine, they still provide the same sense of calm and comfort as a regular cup of tea.

Fruit drink or fruit tea?

Strictly speaking, a fruit drink is not real tea, as it does not contain leaves from the tea bush Camellia sinensis. Instead, it consists of freeze-dried fruit, which resembles tea when infused with boiling water.

However, many people still use the term “fruit tea” when referring to fruit drinks, as it is easier – even if it is not entirely correct.
