Chai Black Tea
Black Chai Tea. The traditional spiced Indian milk tea, available in many variations depending on the region in India.
Recipe for Chai Tea with Milk:
Brew 1 liter of chai tea and 500 ml of milk. Brew the tea and let it steep for 6-8 minutes. Heat the milk and combine it with the chai. Bring to a gentle boil.
Add sugar or cane sugar as desired. Optionally, garnish with cinnamon or grated chocolate on top.
Ingredients: black tea, anise seeds, cinnamon, ginger, pepper, clove, chicory root, and flavoring.
Tea type: black tea with spices, added flavoring
Brewing Instructions:
- dosage: 12 g per liter - 4 to 5 teaspoons
- water temperature: 1000 C
- steeping time: 4-5 minutes in a pot - 1½ minutes in a cup.
