Hornbækhus Herbal Blend
The Hornbækhus herbal blend is a very old Danish mixture, originally from the farm 'Hornbækhus' in Hornbæk. Before it became a hotel, it was a farm with large fields and all the land down to the water, where the rose hips bloomed with their wonderful summer fragrance. In the courtyard of the hotel, there still stand two old hibiscus trees, which were once used in the drink together with rose hips.
Rose hips (50%) and hibiscus (50%)
Use a rounded teaspoon per cup, add boiling water, steep for 6 to 12 minutes. Can be sweetened with sugar or honey to taste.
Brewing Instructions:
- Dosage: 16 g per liter
- Water temperature: 1000 hot water
- Steep time: 6-12 min.
