Japan Sencha - "FUKUJYU"
This Japanese tea originates from the Shizuoka area and is grown on the slopes of Mount Fuji. The color is olive green and it has a slightly sweet scent. A fantastic green tea to get to know.
The Japanese Sencha is produced by immediately treating the picked tea leaves with hot steam in rotating drums. This prevents fermentation. The leaves are then rolled and air dried. Sencha is the "normal" tea drunk in Japan, as 2/3 of all tea in Japan is of this type.
