Description

Tie Guan Yin Green Oolong Organic

We refer to Tie Guan Yin as Green Oolong, as its production method aligns with that of Oolong tea, but with very light fermentation. The taste is indescribably good.
This Tie Guan Yin originates from the Anxi mountains in the Fujian province, South China, and is of A+ (1st grade) quality. Drinking this tea is a delight. It is full-bodied and very satisfying.

This tea comes from an area where all agriculture is practiced following natural methods and sustainable farming.

Tie Guan Yin is known for being able to be brewed multiple times. This is something to experiment with, but we recommend brewing it 2-3 times.
We also recommend using a gaiwan to allow the tea plenty of room to release its flavors.

Brewing Instructions:

  • Water temperature 800 C
  • Amount approx. 8-12 g per liter in a pot or 2 teaspoons per cup of 150 ml water
  • Steeping time in pot max. 3 min, in cup max 2 min.

Tea Type: Green Oolong

Quality Grade: A+ (1st grade)

Country of Origin: Anxi mountains in the Fujian province, China.
