GuZhang Mao Jian organic
GuZhang Mao Jian is harvested around the city of GuZhang in the northwestern corner of Hunan province. Mao means hair ring and Jian means needles. In early April, the white, hairy new shoots are harvested together with the first 2 leaves. The taste is slightly stronger than most green teas, with a distinct taste of tea. Brewed correctly with low water temperature and short steeping time, it has no bitterness and is faintly sweet with a fine "bamboo"-like taste. Nice greenish cup.
Brewing instructions:
- Dosage: 12 - 15 g per litre
- Drawing time: 1-3 min.
- Water temperature: 72 - 75 0 C
