Espresso Secondo Organic Coffee
Espresso - This espresso coffee follows the Northern Italian traditions, consisting of three different coffees, with the dominant bean originating from Brazil, Fazenda Rainha. A natural Yellow Bourbon, robust and rich, ensures a good creamy base. Guatemala Huehuetenango and a touch of Indian robusta from Chikmagalur.
Designed as the perfect organic espresso, this blend is driven by the raw materials for its flavor profile, rather than traditional methods for designing an espresso blend. It's one of the best espressos available on the market.
Organic Espresso Secondo is crafted for those who prefer a flavorful sweet espresso with body and character from purely organic beans, providing a pronounced flavor through milk in a latte or cortado, while being pleasant on the palate as a straight espresso or americano.
This new espresso blend is crafted to be fresh, intense, and smooth simultaneously. Two organic coffees make up this espresso blend, with a Peruvian highland coffee as the base; a full-bodied bean that evokes thoughts of caramel, toffee, and chocolate. We have added a delightful, spicy organic African bean from Shakisso in Ethiopia. This bean contributes intense sweetness and delicious notes of white chocolate and dark berries.
Roasting of Organic Espresso
When roasting this blend, we start with a good amount of heat, achieving quick heat transfer to the beans, resulting in a swift and effective drying process before the actual roasting begins. The heat is gradually reduced until reaching the first crack, where we increase airflow, completing the roast in about 15 minutes.
Brewing:
For optimal flavor, we recommend brewing 17.5 grams of Organic Espresso Secondo, ending with about 38 grams of espresso in the cup. The flow time should be around 28-29 seconds, with the brewing water at approximately 93 degrees.
