Matcha Aichi Premium organic
Matcha is not only from Kyoto. You can actually get matcha from several areas such as Uji (Kyoto), Fuji (Shizuoka) and Nishio (Aichi). The Nishio area is known for producing some of the best matcha in all of Japan. Of Japan's total tea production, approximately 60% of matcha sales come from Nishio.
Our Aichi Matcha comes from the city of Nishio, Aichi Prefecture in Japan. This edition is premium in quality. This means that it is less green in its color compared to a ceremony matcha, but is less grassy in its taste compared to a standard. It is also sweeter and even silkier in texture, though more bitter than the ceremony matcha.
