Gunpowder black tea
Gunpowder is a very unique tea and got its name because its tightly rolled leaves resemble the powder used in cannons on 18th century British ships. These are large half tea leaves that are rolled tightly. The tight rolling helps keep Gunpowder fresher and thus gives it a longer shelf life than other teas. When fully soaked, the balls unfold into whole leaves. The taste is wonderful, rich and very filling. Processed properly in brewing, this tea has no bitterness.
