Mozambique OPI Monte Metilile Black Tea Organic
This tea comes from the Monte Metilile plantation in the Gurue district of the Zambezia province.
This plantation is one of the largest in Mozambique and was established in the 1950s by the Portuguese company Companhia União Fabril (CUF), but was nationalized by Mozambique in 1975.
The tea is a classic black African tea, featuring a soft, slightly sweet flavor, reminiscent of some Chinese teas, as traditional Chinese methods are used to craft these teas.
