Yunnan Imperial Organic
Yunnan produces some of the market's finest black teas. With a unique flavor reminiscent of freshly groomed horses, this tea provides a wonderful example of Yunnan tea. The imperial grade offers a full-bodied black tea with a good level of golden tips for a lovely sweetness.
The taste is lightly malty with a caramel-like sweetness, providing this tea with a wonderful base. Additionally, there is a sensation of pure millet aroma (we know it's a strange way to describe a tea. But it's an expression used in wine, so why not tea?).
And it is undoubtedly one of our more complex black teas.
Perfect for afternoon tea or in the evening when you need a nice relaxing black tea. Incidentally, it's said that this type of tea from Yunnan is good for the nerves.
Brewing Instructions:
- Dosage: 10 grams per liter (3-4 teaspoons)
- Steep time: 3-5 min.
- Water temperature: 100 0C
