Ceylon OP-1 - "Kenilworth"
It was an English pioneer who started the tea plantation in 1947. He named it after the famous Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire, England. The tea plantation is located near the town of Ginigathena in the Nuwara Eliya district.
Ceylon or Sri Lanka, as it is called today, is known for its large tea production. The climate and the high mountains, in the middle of the island, provide optimal conditions for tea cultivation. The teas from Ceylon have a rich golden colour. The tea is fresh and soft and can therefore be easily drunk without milk and sugar.
