Description
Darjeeling TGFOP1 - "Margaret's Hope Autumn"
Margaret's Hope is a world famous name when it comes to Darjeeling Tea . The bushes on Margaret Hope are almost exclusively the Chinese Jat (genus ), and from here come the green leaves with many points that give this amazing tea and the amazing fragrance . Because tea is grown at such high altitudes and in relatively cool weather, the bushes do not grow as quickly and as such are limited in quantity.
The best time of the year for the top quality is during April - "second - flush tea". During this period, Darjeeling tea is unique compared to other teas in the world. The scent and taste is a complex bouquet and it reaches all the way out of the cup .
But this Margarets Hope TGFOP-1 is an autumn harvested top shoot tea. It is somewhat stronger than many other Darjeeling teas, but still soft and round, with almost no bitterness. Some would describe the taste as nutty , others find it reminds them of blackcurrant , but most often it is described as corresponding to the taste and smell of muscat grapes. The cup is golden brown with a wonderful fragrance.
