Maté Herbal drink
Maté herbal drink is a national drink in Argentina, but is drunk throughout South America. Its real name is Yerba Mate, which comes from the leaves of the South American tree " lex paraguariensis ", which are picked and then dried over a fire. With a high caffeine content, mate is a very popular drink throughout South America.
Maté can become somewhat bitter at first brew. Therefore, it is said that it is traditionally the host who drinks the first of several brews on the same leaves. Drink from calabash mugs (hollowed out dried gourds) with metal straws ( bombilla ).

Brewing instructions:
- dosage: 16 g per litres
- water temperature: boiling water
- drawing time: as needed, but approx. 5-10 minutes.
- number of brews: more than 5 times depending on taste.
