Nordic Tea - Who are we?

Nordic Tea ApS consists of a physical store at Møllestræde 6 in Hillerød, as well as the associated webshop www.nordic-tea.dk .

The company has existed since 2007 and has based its success all these years on the three solid foundations of high quality, a large selection and, not least, a high level of service. Based on these criteria, we have over the years established a solid customer base, which is growing steadily.

Quality - Nordic Tea is sourced from the best plantations from all over the world and we have carefully selected the best suppliers in Europe.
Over many years, Germany has developed into Europe's center for tea imports from Asia and Africa, and we have selected some of the largest and best tea houses that exist on the market.

Selection - Nordic Tea has one of Denmark's absolute largest selection of teas. It is important to us that our customers can find both standard and rare teas. Our selection of black, green, white and Oolong teas is from many of the world's continents and we try to have a suitable range, so that both the rare and the more normal teas can be ordered from our webshop and in the store in Hillerød.

In addition to the many pure and aromatic teas, Nordic Tea also has a wide selection of Rooibos teas, as well as a very varied selection of different types of herbs - better known as herbal teas.

At Nordic Tea, we have a big heart for ecology. We therefore have a very wide selection of organic teas. Several of our teas are also available in both conventional and organic versions.

Many people choose to complement a good cup of tea with something sweet, which is why we have chosen to have a wide range of high-quality sweets. Cookies, caramels. confectionery, nougat, licorice and a wide range of other products are available in store and on the webshop.

We also have a wide and varied range of organic spices.
Within spices, quality is a very important factor, so that you achieve the best taste experience when you cook. We have ensured a high quality of our spices by using the best spice suppliers in Europe.

Our coffee range consists of quality coffee from roasteries Just Coffee in Roskilde and Strandvejsristeriet in Helsingør.

On our websites, as well as in our shop, you will also be able to find a wide range of tea accessories such as teapots, tea mugs, tea cans, tea bags and other necessary supplements for your tea drinking.

Service - after 30 years of experience in various sales and service professions, the owners, Charlotte and Jens Risom, know the importance of high service. Our staff and we have a constant focus on ensuring that all inquiries to Nordic Tea are answered quickly and professionally. We always have our customers in absolute focus and ensure that everyone has a good experience when they shop at Nordic Tea.

Tea - is the drink in the world that is drunk the most - after water. In countries such as China and India have a very high status for tea, where tea, in our Western world, often has 2nd place after coffee.
At Nordic Tea, we want tea and tea drinkers to have a clearer position. If we can help put tea on the agenda in several places, then we have succeeded in our mission. Tea letters can be of excellent quality, but on e.g. larger gourmet restaurants, we believe that it should be standard that you can be presented with a good selection of good quality loose teas, served in a pot, so that an exquisite meal can end with a good cup of tea.

Our passion and interest in good tea will hopefully rub off on the experience you get by shopping at Nordic Tea.
Throughout our lives, we have traveled widely around the world and in many of the countries we have visited, we have cultivated the local tea culture. Whether it was at the famous tea houses in Shanghai and Beijing or the traditional 5 o'clock Tea in England and Scotland, we sought out local, cozy and exciting tea places.

For us, tea is associated with words such as coziness, warmth, traditions, togetherness, family and a wide range of other valuable words. If we can help our customers also experience these things, then we have come a long way towards our goal.

Danish Veterinary and Food Administration - As tea is a food, we are naturally registered with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration with an associated Smiley. We are also controlled by the Danish Food and Veterinary Authority's Ecology scheme.
