Ceylon Pettiagalla OP
This tea is one of the first Ceylon teas that came to Denmark. It originates from the Dimbula area in the Balangoda district and offers a mild yet aromatic flavor.
Ceylon, or Sri Lanka as it is now known, is famous for its extensive tea production. The climate and the highlands in the center of the island provide optimal conditions for tea cultivation. Teas from Ceylon have a rich golden color. The tea is fresh and smooth with a low tannin content, making it easy to drink without milk and sugar.
Brewing Instructions:
- dosage: 10 grams or 4 teaspoons per liter of water
- water temperature: 100o C hot water
- steep time: 3-5 minutes
