Ceylon Pettiagalla OP
This tea is one of the first Ceylon teas that came to Denmark. It comes from the Dimbula area of Balangoda district and has a mild but aromatic taste.
Ceylon or Sri Lanka, as it is called today, is known for its large tea production. The climate and the high mountains, in the middle of the island, provide optimal conditions for tea cultivation. The teas from Ceylon have a rich golden colour. The tea is fresh and soft and with a low content of tannic acid. It can therefore be easily drunk without milk and sugar.
Brewing instructions:
- dosage: 10 gr or 4 teaspoons per liters of water
- water temperature: 100 o C hot water
- drawing time: 3-5 min.
