Keemun Mao Feng Organic
Top quality black organic Keemun tea, which is why it is called Mao Feng (or Keemun GongFu or Xiang Luo). Tea in this quality is most often large, slightly curled leaves with a small tip and the taste is soft with a slight chocolate undertone and an earthy aroma where you can sense the scent of cocoa. The cup becomes dark amber-coloured.
Keemun tea is produced in the Keemun district of Anhui province , and is a pearl of Chinese black tea . It is the most famous of China's black teas . Due to its subtle and complex character , it is considered the " Burgundy of tea". When it was first produced in 1856 , it became world famous and has won titles and fame as " The ES of the three most aroma-rich teas in the world ", and even been praised as " The Queen Of Fragrance " and " a prodigy of tea " in London , the largest international market for black tea .
Keemun , the southernmost county in Anhui province , where Keemun Black tea is produced , is located at an average altitude of about 400 meters and a climate bordering on subtropical .
