Keemun Downy OP Organic Black Tea
Keemun Black tea is produced in the Keemun district of Anhui province , is a pearl of Chinese black tea . It is the most famous of China's black teas . Due to its subtle and complex character , it is considered the " Burgundy of tea". When it was first produced in 1875 , it has become world-renowned for having won titles and fame as " The ES of the three most aroma-rich teas in the world ", and has even been praised as " The Queen Of Fragrance " and " a prodigy of tea " in London , the largest international market for black tea .
Keemun , the southernmost county in Anhui province , where Keemun Black tea is produced , is located at an average altitude of about 400 meters and a climate bordering on subtropical . Such a natural environment , positively endowed with a temerate cilmate , abundant rainfall and cloud - enveloping dense forests on the heights , has been the decisive factor that enriches the typical quality of Keemun black tea .
It is a full-bodied tea , which will taste good alone, or supported with sugar and / or milk . Because of its " wine-like" quality, lemon should not be offered as its combined flavor is too tart . The appearance of Keemun black tea is slim and elegant . The reddish-brown tea tastes soft and round. The persistent, powerful scent is reminiscent of both the aroma of fruit and of rose, and is the characteristic taste of real Keemun black tea .
