Ceylon OP Highgrown
This tea is grown in the highlands of Ceylon between 1000 and 2300 meters above sea level. The tea leaves are dark and uniform and the tea takes on a reddish colour. The scent is harmonious.
Ceylon or Sri Lanka, as it is called today, is known for its large tea production. The climate and the high mountains, in the middle of the island, provide optimal conditions for tea cultivation. The teas from Ceylon have a rich golden colour. The tea is fresh and soft and with a low content of tannic acid. It can therefore be easily drunk without milk and sugar.
