Ceylon St. James OP
Plantation St. James was created as the first tea plantation in Sri Lanka by James Taylor in 1867, from imported Chinese tea plants, and this was the start of the Ceylon Tea industry.
Located in the famous Malwatta Valley in the growing UVA district, St. James plantation tea of the best quality on 300 hectares. The classic Orange Pekoe (OP) gets a thorough treatment. The bright red-golden cup is generally slightly darker than the higher localized UVA Highland grades. A full spicy, very balanced taste unites with an aromatically strong, fragrant bouquet - a premium Ceylon tea for Ceylon tea lovers.
