Darjeeling Blend TGFOP
This tea is one of the really old ones. I also got it in my first store in 1989, and to this day it tastes just like it did then. It is a wonderful blend from many different plantations. Fredsted Te imported it in its day and, along with Royal Darjeeling, was one of their best-selling teas.
Darjeeling is located in the northeastern corner of India at the foot of the mighty Himalayas. Darjeeling is known for its Buddhist monasteries and pleasant climate and then of course its tea plantations. Almost a quarter of India's tea production originates from this district. The south-facing slopes abut the Himalayas and produce some tea qualities considered to be the finest in the world.
