Lapacho herb
Lapacho is the inner bark of the South American tree, Purple Lapacho.
With regard to nutrition and health claims, it is stated on the Danish Food and Food Administration's website, among other things: "It is prohibited to use statements that a food can prevent, alleviate or have a beneficial effect on diseases or disease symptoms. This appears from section 76 of the labeling order, which is an implementation of the EU's labeling directive (dir 2000/13/EC)”.
