GuZhang Mao Jian Organic
GuZhang Mao Jian is harvested around the town of GuZhang in the northwestern corner of Hunan province. Mao means hairy and Jian means needles. In early April, the white, hairy new shoots are picked along with the first two leaves. The flavor is slightly more robust than most green teas, with a distinct tea taste. When brewed correctly with a low water temperature and short steeping time, it has no bitterness and is mildly sweet with a fine bamboo-like flavor. Beautiful greenish cup.
Brewing Instructions:
- Dosage: 10 grams per liter (3-4 teaspoons)
- Steeping time: 1-3 minutes
- Water temperature: 72 - 750 C
