Lapacho Herb
Lapacho is the inner bark of the South American tree, Purple Lapacho.
Regarding nutritional and health claims, the website of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration states: It is forbidden to use claims that a food product can prevent, alleviate, or have a beneficial effect on diseases or disease symptoms. This is stipulated by section 76 of the labeling order, which is an implementation of the EU's labeling directive (dir 2000/13/EC).
