Shui Xian Oolong organic
Shui Xian is a famous Oolong tea that is harvested in the Wu Yi Mountains of Fujian Province, just up the Red Robe Mountains, Da Hong Pao .
Da Hong Pao is the world's most famous tea and the absolute most expensive tea ever sold. In the old days, the plantation that housed the distinctive tea plant named after the mountains where it grew, Da Hong Pao, was a renowned plantation owned by the nearby Temple. And it was the monks who looked after the plants and did the harvesting and production.
The plantation no longer exists. There are only 3 plants left growing on a rock outcrop.
But the seeds from these plants have created the plant called Shui Xian. A serious tea garden will never call its tea Da Hong Pao, even if the plants are the same.
