Tulsi (Holy Basil) is called 'The Queen of Herbs' - it is the most sacred herb in India. Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), also known as Holy Basil, is a different plant from the one used in pesto.
Tulsi from Nordic Tea, which is a 100% organic version, has been revered in India for more than five thousand years as a healing balm for body, mind, and spirit.
And it tastes great. The flavor is slightly sharp with a light peppery sensation and a grassy clean undertone.
Brewing Instructions:
- Dosage: 16 g per liter
- Water temperature: 100o
- Steep time: 6-10 min.
