Green tea wild Yunnan
This tea is a rarity. It comes from the original tea plant, Camelia Taliensis, which is a wild-growing tree with large leaves. It only grows in the south-western part of Yunnan province in China and up in the highlands of Thailand and Myanmar, where there are entire forests with it. Camelia Taliensis is the "father plant" of the two known tea plants, Camelia Sinensis (the Chinese tea tree) and Camelia Assamica (the Indian tea tree).
The tea here is made like a Chun Mee tea.
From this original tea tree, the expensive Pu-Erh teas and the very special and very expensive white teas are made: Moonlight White.
As it grows wild, it cannot be certified as organic. Very different and very fresh taste of tea with fine tones of green.
It has been picked spring 2021.
