Ceylon Pekoe "Lover's Leap"
The plantation got its romantic name after a story about a certain cliff in the tea plantation, from which couples in love can jump off if they are not allowed to marry. The plantation is located in the Nuwara Eliya district.
A strong tea with a soft aroma.
Don't let it drag on too long!
Ceylon or Sri Lanka, as it is called today, is known for its large tea production. The climate and the high mountains in the middle of the island provide optimal conditions for tea cultivation. The teas from Ceylon have a rich golden colour. The tea is fresh and soft and with a low content of tannic acid. It can therefore be easily drunk without milk and sugar.
