Assam FTGFOP1 "Tonganagaon" organic
This tea is produced at the "Tonganagaon" tea plantation in the western part of Assam. Tea has been grown on the site since 1880. This organic tea has medium-sized leaves and a few golden top shoots. The tea is lightly spiced with an exciting flavor that is round and pleasant. This tea can be drunk without milk and sugar
Tonganagaon is a small tea plantation in Assam, India and TGFBOP's classification system means Tippy Golden Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe. This tea is a great find and we had to add it to our range. As the leaves are smaller and "broken" (broken in English), this means that you can brew a stronger and fuller cup if the water is not too hard.
